Shipping Policy

1. What We Ship
LALA Stories sells personalized printed storybooks. Each order also includes online viewer access so you and your family can read the story in our web viewer. Only the printed book is physically shipped — we do not sell or deliver downloadable PDFs or any other digital files.
2. Viewer Access
Your online viewer access is enabled in your account as soon as the book is generated — typically within minutes of a successful payment. You can then read the story in our web viewer from any browser. If the story doesn't appear in your account within 30 minutes, please contact contact@lalastories.ai.
3. Shipping Coverage
Printed books currently ship to all governorates within Egypt. International shipping is not available at this time. Coverage may expand in the future — please check this page for updates.
4. Processing Time
Printed orders typically enter production within 1–2 business days after payment is confirmed. Production (printing and binding) takes an additional 2–4 business days before the book is handed to our shipping partner.
5. Delivery Time
Once shipped, delivery in Cairo and Giza usually takes 2–3 business days. Delivery to other governorates typically takes 3–6 business days. Total time from order to delivery is generally 5–10 business days. Remote areas may require additional time.
6. Shipping Fees
Shipping fees are calculated at checkout based on your governorate and are shown before you complete payment. Fees are non-refundable once the order has shipped, except in cases covered by our Refund Policy (e.g., wrong item, lost in transit).
7. Order Tracking
Once your order ships, you will receive an email with tracking information. You can also view order status from your account under "My Orders."
8. Failed Delivery Attempts
Our courier typically makes up to two delivery attempts. If both attempts fail due to an incorrect address or unreachable recipient, the order will be returned to us. Re-shipping will require you to cover the additional shipping cost. Please ensure the phone number and address you provide at checkout are correct and reachable.
9. Damaged, Lost, or Wrong Items
If your printed book arrives damaged, is lost in transit, or you received the wrong item, please see our Refund Policy for how we handle replacements at no cost to you.
