We collect information you provide when creating an account (name, email, phone), shipping addresses for physical deliveries, and photos you upload for personalization. We also collect usage data (pages visited, interactions) via analytics cookies when you consent.
2. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to create and deliver your personalized storybook, process payments, communicate about your orders, improve our Service, and — with your consent — send marketing communications. We do not sell your personal information.
3. Data Storage
Customer data is stored on Supabase's managed PostgreSQL infrastructure with row-level security enabled. Photos are stored on Supabase Storage with access restricted to the owning account. Backups are encrypted in transit and at rest.
4. Third-Party Services
We share limited data with the following providers, each bound by their own privacy terms: Paymob (payment processing — receives shipping/contact details needed for the transaction), Supabase (database and storage hosting), and Google Analytics (anonymized usage metrics, only with your consent).
5. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and cart state, and analytics cookies to understand how the Service is used. You can accept or decline non-essential cookies via the consent banner shown on your first visit.
6. Children's Privacy
LALA Stories is designed for families. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Account creation requires an adult, and child photos uploaded are treated as belonging to the account owner. If you believe we've inadvertently collected a child's information, please contact us to have it removed.
7. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time. You may withdraw consent for marketing or analytics cookies without losing access to core Service features. To exercise these rights, email contact@lalastories.ai.
